Lexus F Sport bicycle marks end of LFA production

To mark the end of production of its limited 500-unit run LFA, Lexus has come up with an F Sport bicycle that employs the same Carbon Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) used in the supercar body, reports Lexus Enthusiast, which also posted these images.

The bicycle has a Dura-Ace Di2 electrically-controlled gearchange mechanism for easy shifting through the 22 speeds. Each unit has been assembled by Takumi (Taiwanese bicycle maker) technicians and painted to LFA standards.

According to Lexus Enthusiast, each Lexus regional office has been given the option of ordering these cycles, but with only two units in the US and one in Canada, they remain very rare.

The Motomachi facility gave birth to the last Lexus LFA on December 14, 2012, after having hand-built the car for two years. The Lexus LFA had a 4.8 litre V10 that produced 560 PS and 480 Nm of torque, allowing a 0-100 km/h time of under four seconds and a top whack of 325 km/h
